Founded in 2008, Wasatch Roller Derby (WRD) is SLC’s premier flat track roller derby league. We are a 501c3 nonprofit organization, and a proud member of the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA). Fun fact: WFTDA currently boasts over 400 member leagues on 6 continents!

Our travel team, the Midnight Terror, competes against other WFTDA teams within our region (North America-West).

In addition to our ranked travel team, our league has two home teams—the Black Diamond Divas and the Hot Wheelers—who bout against one another throughout the season, right here in SLC.

Our Mission

The mission of Wasatch Roller Derby (WRD) is to maintain a competitive athletic program and make a positive impact on the lives of all Utahns. We aim to provide a supportive environment for all people to excel in both their individual successes and in a team environment while providing quality sports entertainment for our fans. WRD is committed to giving back to the community. Many of our events involve some aspect of community service, which may include: special events and appearances, donations, volunteering, or raising awareness for other aligned organizations.
